Welcome to Our Puppy Blog!

Welcome to our blog! I am a small hobby breeder of Schnoodle puppies. My Schnoodles are a cross of the White Schnauzer with a Red Poodle. These dogs do not shed, are great for allergy sufferers, are friendly and easily trained.

We have 4 breeding females and sell our puppies face to face as required by APHIS rules for hobby breeders.

Our breeding dogs are from purebred Akc lines and the Schnoodle puppies are registered with ICA (the registry for Designer breed dogs.)

They will be vet checked, have their first set of shots, and they have been using a Ugodog Potty tray from 4 to 8 weeks. But this is just the beginning! Read through our posts to see the special care and attention we give our litter. You will enjoy watching our Growing Puppies!

We sell our puppies through our Waiting list. To reserve your spot on the Waiting List requires a $250 deposit. If you have any questions please email me at GrowingPuppies@gmail.com

Exciting News! Coco has bred with Ricky!

I am so pleased to share the exciting news that Coco has bred with Ricky the Red Toy Poodle.   We have waited a long time for this event.   I know some of you will be ecstatic!  I have calculated the due Date as May 19, 2015.

Breeding Coco has not been a simple process.  Coco is very mysterious in these matters and she does not show the signs that most dogs show which give clear indication that they have started their fertility cycle.  In fact, if someone did not have experience, they would likely never know she was in heat.

But I learned my lesson last August when I tried to breed Coco too late.  This time I was not going to rely on the usual signs.  I was going to look for the most subtle signs!   In this case, all Coco did was stand up on her hind legs and put her front paws around Misty's neck.   That is not normal behavior for our dogs.  But remembered her doing something similar last August. So I called my friend who keeps our stud to make arrangements for Coco to meet up with him right away.  I was not going to risk missing Coco's fertile time.

Ricky is just the right size stud dog for Coco.  The two of them will make beautiful Schnoodle Puppies!
About our Stud Ricky:   Ricky is the newest young poodle in my breeding program. I spent two years of researching breeders and pedigrees to find him.  To keep the number of dogs to a reasonable number in my house, my friend agreed to provide a loving home for Ricky.  Ricky comes from a 30 year Red Poodle breeding program with Champions from his Grandfather on up.  Obviously none of you are looking to buy Show Dogs here.  But what that kind of attention to breeding will give us is solid red genes to pass on to our Schnoodle litters as well as super healthy genetics.  Ricky is also super playful and friendly.  He loves everyone he meets...even cats!   He is a great match for Coco's great breeding.  I am hoping to produce the highest quality Toy Schnoodle Puppies possible.  I am so thrilled with the quality of this breeding pair.

When I got the pair together, Coco did not know what a fine catch Ricky was.  He was just another pretty boy to her. And Ricky didn't help the situation by acting super goofy like a love struck teenager.  Coco was not impressed.  She was super aloof and wasn't even giving him the time of day.   But I was hopeful.  Ricky was acting too nutty for Coco to NOT be in heat.  That was the best sign yet!  The first visit was uneventful.  But the second day I let the two hang out for several hours and little by little Ricky managed to win her attention.  By late afternoon Ricky had his way.  I have every confidence that we will have a fat Coco in another month.

I have calculated the due date for Coco's litter as May 19, 2015.   I will contact the first 3-5 people on the list to give them a heads up that they need to mark their calendars.  Coco was born into a litter of 5 puppies  I would expect she would have 3-5 puppies herself. She has tiny toy brothers, so she could produce a range of toy sizes.

We are so excited!  These will be the cutest puppies ever!
