Welcome to Our Puppy Blog!

Welcome to our blog! I am a small hobby breeder of Schnoodle puppies. My Schnoodles are a cross of the White Schnauzer with a Red Poodle. These dogs do not shed, are great for allergy sufferers, are friendly and easily trained.

We have 4 breeding females and sell our puppies face to face as required by APHIS rules for hobby breeders.

Our breeding dogs are from purebred Akc lines and the Schnoodle puppies are registered with ICA (the registry for Designer breed dogs.)

They will be vet checked, have their first set of shots, and they have been using a Ugodog Potty tray from 4 to 8 weeks. But this is just the beginning! Read through our posts to see the special care and attention we give our litter. You will enjoy watching our Growing Puppies!

We sell our puppies through our Waiting list. To reserve your spot on the Waiting List requires a $250 deposit. If you have any questions please email me at GrowingPuppies@gmail.com

Did Puppy have an Accident? ... The Best Carpet Cleaning Options

With puppies and rescue dogs there are bound to be a few accidents if you have rugs. When accidents occur it is important to clean them up right away.   Wikipedia has a some good instructions on 3 Ways to Remove Pet Urine from Carpets.

Here is a basic video on a Home Remedy for Urine Stains on the carpet using a Wet Dry Vac.

But what happens when you don't notice the stains and they dry and then turn into yellow stains?  Well, you may want to buy a Black Light now, so you don't miss them.   But if you do find some old urine stains on your carpet,  I want to warn you that old stains are really hard to get out.

We had some urine stains on our carpets when we moved into this house.   We tried everything to remove our stains.  We cleaned them repeatedly with Natures Miracle....while the rug was wet, we couldn't see them, but as the carpet dried the stains seemed to resurface.  The way I understand it, all the urine crystals that were left in their are so numerous that they are drawn to the surface from below as the carpet dries.  I had even hired Porfessional Steam cleaning services and the stains still resurfaced.

Urine accidents glow under a black light
We had decided the carpet needed to be replaced. but first I decided to try my last option.  The more expensive professional Pet treatement from  Chem Dry of Spotsylvania. They said they had a method for Cleaning Pet Urine that was very successful.  I felt confident the rug would come out pretty clean....but had ZERO expectations that the stains would disappear.  After all, we had worked on them repeatedly and had no effect.

The Carpet man came and looked over the rug with a Black Light.   The light actually makes the urine stains glow under the light!  so he can pin point the exact location of all the stains, visible and invisible.Pet Urine Odor Removal .

So I gave the OK and let the Carpet man to do the super duper Pet Cleaning job.  First he put the Enzyme solution on all the spots. He really saturated them (down to the pad, apparently) and he let it sit for 3 days before he returned. Then he came back with his extractor and cleaned the whole rug completely.

When he finished I was amazed. The rug looked and smelled completely clean! But I was still sceptical that the stains might resurface.   I asked the Carpet Man if this would happen. He said, if the stains resurfaced in a few weeks or month, he would redo the rug. Wow! I had to see it to believe it. Well they never did resurface.  Our rug was saved!   So I am writing this post because it took a long time to find the right carpet cleaning company that delivers what they claim.    So it is really good to know that there are ways to address urine accidents even when the stains have been there for a while.
